(Inner Circle DJs Ltd – Inc The Wedding Players) – DJ (referred to as Artist below) Terms & Conditions of Booking (January 2021) – For DJs only (Other Service terms available upon request)

  1. We will hold a date for the intended hirer for an initial period of 15 working days from the sent date of the contract. If we have not received the Reservation / Booking Fees within this time, we reserve the right to accept other bookings.
  2. A booking is not considered final until we receive the signed Artist Contract, Booking Confirmation and Reservation Fees, and these signed Terms and Conditions.
  3. In the extremely unlikely event of the Artist having to cancel, any monies paid to us by the client shall be refunded in full. We will also endeavour to help find a replacement Artist or Disco. (This will be the full extent of Inner Circle DJs Ltd or the Artist’s liability)
  4. We reserve the right to substitute the named Artist with another should unforeseen circumstances arrive (illness, breakdown, holiday delay etc)
  5. In the unlikely event that the Artist’s equipment should totally fail (excluding circumstances beyond our control, e.g., a power cut) a refund will be given – the extent to which the details can be discussed after evaluation of the issue.
  6. It is The Client’s responsibility to inform the venue that we require clear access to the function room (and a clear set-up area) at least 60 minutes prior to the start time and up to 60 minutes (from a clear area) to de-rig and vacate the venue. If there is a delay to the scheduled set up time, this will impact on the scheduled start time.
  7. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is equipped with 2 (two) working standard double electrical sockets.
  8. We reserve the right to cancel our services should we discover that the venue or access to the venue presents a danger to ourselves, your guests or could lead to damage of equipment. No refunds shall be given in this instance.
  9. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the good behaviour of their guests. If at any time, before or during the event, we deem our persons or property to be under threat or are subject to abusive behaviour we reserve the right to terminate our services with immediate notice. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.
  10. The client is responsible for any malicious and/or accidental damage or theft of equipment caused by guests attending their event and will be liable to make good any losses incurred, and any loss of earnings because of the actions. (this shall include the professional cleaning of DJ Equipment Covers, because of food and drink spillages over equipment)
  11. The client will ensure there is sufficient adult supervision of the children attending the event.
  12. The supervising adults will ensure that the children do not interfere with the disco equipment or prevent the Artist from performing his duties to the client. (See point 8)
  13. If in the unlikely event of the Client needing to make a claim against the Artist, he/she agrees that the matter will be between the Client and the Artist named (or replacement Artist), and no liability will be proportioned in any part to Inner Circle DJs Ltd.
  14. Inner Circle DJs Ltd or the Artist do not accept responsibility for possible hearing damage caused from the listening of amplified music at this event, and we would recommend using appropriate ear protection, especially for young children and babies
  15. In the event of exceptional bad weather that prevents the Artist getting to the venue (such as snow, severe storm etc) we reserve the right to cancel the performance, however a full refund will be given. This is the extent of the Artists or Inner Circle DJs liability.


  1. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the party venue has all necessary event licences and licences for the playing of recorded music.

Payments / Cancellation

  1. Initial Reservation Fees are non-refundable as: 1) they represent work carried out and expenses incurred to the point of completing a booking; plus 2) a reasonable amount of compensation for potential lost income owing to a reserved date being cancelled / help towards costs in trying to resell the date.

If the contract becomes ‘Frustrated’, owing to the event being prevented from going ahead by Government Legislation the fees indicated in 17. 1) will still apply

Book with Confidence – Initial Fees will be transferable to comparable dates for situations such as COVID postponements.

17.a. Administration charge for issuing rescheduled date Booking Forms : £15 plus VAT

  1. All outstanding fees or balances are payable by bank transfer no later than 30 days before the event date.
  2. The Artist reserves the right to not perform if payment in full has not been received before the due start time of the performance. (Cheques cannot be accepted as a means of payment on the day of performance)
  3. If on the evening of performance, the Artist is asked to perform for an additional time (not pre-arranged, then if it is possible to do so, the Artist will, only after s/he receives payment in cash @ a rate of £40 per hour or part of for the Artist and any staff with him/her. This is non-negotiable)
