Terms & Conditions


The Wedding Players (Inner Circle DJs Ltd) – DJ Terms & Conditions of Booking (Summer 2017)

1. We will hold a date for the intended hirer for an initial period of 15 working days from the sent date of the contract. If we have not received the Reservation / Booking Fees within this time period we reserve the right to accept other bookings.

2. A booking is not considered final until we receive the signed Artist Contract, Booking Confirmation and Reservation Fees, and these signed Terms and Conditions.

3. In the extremely unlikely event of the DJ having to cancel, any monies paid to us by the client shall be refunded in full. We will also endeavour to help find a replacementDJor Disco. (This will be the full extent of Inner Circle DJs Ltd or the Artist’s liability)

4. We reserve the right to substitute the names Artist with another should unforeseen circumstances arrive (illness, breakdown, holiday delay etc)

5. In the unlikely event that the DJs equipment should totally fail (excluding circumstances beyond our control, e.g. a power cut) a refund will be given – the extent to which the details can be discussed after evaluation of the issue.

6. It is The Client’s responsibility to inform the venue that we require clear access to the function room (and a clear set-up area) at least 60 minutes prior to the start time and up to 60 minutes (from a clear area) to de-rig and vacate the venue. If there is a delay to the scheduled set up time, this will impact on the scheduled start time.

7. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is equipped with 2 (two) working standard double electrical sockets.

8. We reserve the right to cancel our services should we discover that the venue or access to the venue presents a danger to ourselves, your guests or could lead to damage of equipment. No refunds shall be given in this instance.

9. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the good behaviour of their guests. If at any time, before or during the event, we deem our persons or property to be under threat, or are subject to abusive behaviour we reserve the right to terminate our services with immediate notice. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.

10. The client is responsible for any malicious damage or theft of equipment caused by guests attending your event and will be liable to make good any losses incurred, and any loss of earnings as a consequence of the actions

11. The client will ensure there is sufficient adult supervision of the children attending the event.

12. The supervising adults will ensure that the children do not interfere with the disco equipment or prevent the Artist from performing his duties to the client. (See point 8)

13. If in the unlikely event of the Client needing to make a claim against the Artist, he/she agrees that the matter will be between the Client and the Artist named (or replacement Artist), and no liability will be proportioned in any part to Inner Circle DJs Ltd.

Licences

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the party venue has all necessary event licences and licences for the playing of recorded music.

Payments

14. Deposits / Booking Fees are non-refundable

15. All outstanding fees or balances are payable by cheque or bank transfer no later than 14 days before the event date.

16. The Artist reserves the right to not perform if payment in full has not been received before the due start time of the performance. (Cheques cannot be accepted as a means of payment on the day of performance)


NB – It is the client’s responsibility to supply playlist requests at least 1 (one) month prior to party date to allow us sufficient time to prepare. Outside of this time may prevent us from being able to compile your requests.
